ALL PRO CHAMPIONSHIPS SELECTED TO MERCHANDISE ALLTECH FEI WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES™

24/07/2006

(Lexington, KY) – All Pro Championships, a Kentucky-based sports merchandising firm, has been selected as the exclusive licensing organization and merchandiser for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games to be held in Lexington, Kentucky in 2010 at the famed Kentucky Horse Park. All Pro was chosen after a nationwide search of firms conducted by the World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc., the organization in charge of putting on the event to be held September 25 through October 10, 2010.

All Pro brings over 25 years of merchandising experience to the World Equestrian Games, managing similar programs for the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, Belmont and Breeders’ Cup.

“We are genuinely excited about partnering with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games,” said Ben Erps, president of All Pro. “The games are a huge international event and represent a tremendous opportunity for equestrian sports and the state of Kentucky. We are up to the challenge to deliver a world-class program for this prestigious event.”

All Pro also has a great deal of experience with major sporting events outside of equestrian sports. All Pro has been a key merchandiser for the NFL and the Super Bowl since 1978. The firm has also been involved with the NBA Finals, MLB All-Star Game and World Series, Summer Olympic Games, Davis Cup and America’s Cup. Regionally, All Pro has also been an important merchandiser for the Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals product and the state’s Unbridled Spirit program.

“We needed to select a firm capable of managing this massive merchandising effort that extends for such a long time,” said World Games 2010 Foundation CEO Jack Kelly. “We were extraordinarily pleased to find a company like All Pro so close and with so much direct experience."

All Pro will be responsible for all aspects of both the licensing and merchandising programs for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. As well as producing many of their own products, All Pro will be licensing a number of local and national firms to produce additional goods. When completed, the line of merchandise will include souvenir staples such as caps, t-shirts and lapel pins as well as many other items. There will also be a special selection of upscale gifts and art products. All Pro will also be handling corporate sales, a complete web store at feigames2010.org as well as operating all of the sales venues during the event.

The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games are the world championships of the eight equestrian disciplines recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), and are held every four years. The Games have never before been held outside of Europe nor have they ever all been held together at a single site; both firsts that the Kentucky Horse Park will achieve. The 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games will be held in Aachen, Germany and run from August 20 to September 3. Approximately 800 athletes and 875 horses are expected to compete there. The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky is expected to sell more than 500,000 tickets and have an economic impact of more than $150 million.
